Hi! My name is Lauren Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese-American creative based in New Orleans, Louisiana. My area of focus is graphic design and I specialize in biology-related design. I graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans with a degree in biology, following my parents' dreams and wishes for me to become a doctor. However, after discovering my love and passion for design and art, I decided to pursue my Master of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
During my time in graduate school, I created works that integrated design and biology to make learning about the body more approachable, fun, and colorful. I loved learning about the processes that occur in the body and wanted to share that interest to others.
When I'm not designing, I am videographing or photographing a wedding with my fiancé, playing with my Westie puppy Beignet, or enjoying an ice-cold cup of milk tea with boba. I enjoy anime, sushi, crime shows, and taking naps. My favorite musical group is BTS (the Korean boy band), so if you're ARMY, you know.
P.S. I have a natural talent of being able to put things up on the wall without using a leveler :)
